Looking at the discussions and arguments around the Wedgewood fake polls story it feels like the world is supposedly re-discovering propaganda and psychological operations. Discovering? They never went away.

Back in 2019 Vice Motherboard bagged an interview with the Grugq where the old-school hacker (in the word's true sense) described how the methods had adapted to online world and made the previously slow methods easier to pull off and more accessible to anyone with the intent and a modest budget.
